Community Guidelines

No warning, no exceptions:

• Any sexual depiction of minors, and any attempt to contact a minor for sexual purposes. We ban and report these cases to the authorities.
• Sexual acts or exposure on camera
• Threats of violence against a real person
• Sharing recordings of other players without their knowledge
• Using the platform while under 16

• Harassment.Insults, degradation, or hostility based on origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability. Including the “it was just a joke” variety.
• Continuing after someone said no. If someone does not want to talk, that is the end of the conversation.
• Cheating. Looking up and sharing answers, multiple accounts, deliberately losing, automation.
• Spam and advertising. Unrelated links, server promotion, chain messages.
• Impersonation. Pretending to be someone else, especially a moderator or a member of the team.
• Misusing reports. Reporting someone because they beat you — at a quiz.

Published quizzes are reviewed before they go live. We reject anything that:

• contains pornographic content, glorifies violence, or incites hatred
• reuses someone else's material without the right to do so (images, whole question sets)
• targets a real, identifiable private individual
• is filler — empty questions, keyboard mashing, advertising inside the question text

Wrong answers are not grounds for rejection, they are normal. Report them and we will correct them or talk to the author.

We work in steps: warning (counted per account), temporary suspension, permanent ban. How fast this escalates depends on severity — for the items in the first section there are no steps.

When open reports accumulate against the same account and the evidence supports them, a provisional suspension is applied automatically until a human has decided. That is deliberate: better to briefly suspend someone wrongly than to let ongoing harassment continue.

If you think a decision was wrong, write to contact@omequiz.de with your username and roughly when it happened. We review the case together with its evidence and normally reply within two working days. Decisions do get reversed when they were wrong — it happens.

You do not have to wait for us to step in. Leave the room, block the person — which stops them contacting you or joining your rooms — and file a report. More on this under safety and moderation.

These guidelines sit alongside the terms of use. Where they conflict, the terms take precedence.
